Special Issue “Maps in/as Media” (GI_Forum Journal)

GI_Forum Journal invites submissions for the Special Issue “Maps in/as Media – On the Mediated Production of Geographical Knowledge,” edited by Pablo Abend and Helena Atteneder. The issue explores the role of maps in media ecologies and the production of spatial knowledge. We welcome theoretical, empirical, and methodological contributions from fields including media studies, GIScience, geography, and STS.
