Independent Student Media Project =96 call for articles

The Independent Student Media Project is a major new initiative which aim=
s to reconnect academic research with political and cultural practice. We=
will produce a UK-based digital publication with a global outlook, conta=
ining feature articles, creative work, news and research. A pilot version=
is now online at www.ismproject.net (click on logo to enter the main sit=
e).

We especially encourage submissions based on postgraduate research, thoug=
h these must be written for a non-specialist audience. We are also seekin=
g reports on activism, original artwork, short films, photography, creati=
ve writing and translations. The submissions deadline for our launch issu=
e is Friday 13 September 2002. Potential contributors are encouraged to c=
ontact Oscar Reyes before this date at oereye@yahoo.co.uk.
