On behalf of the AoIR Ethics Working Group, I am working on two roundtable submissions for AoIR2022 in Dublin.

The first is an open roundtable discussion to learn how the AoIR community has applied the Ethical Guidelines 3.0 in their research, help identify gaps and limitations in the current version, and brainstorm additional topical companion resources as we think about version 3.1 and beyond.

The second is a more focused roundtable that engages with the ethical complications of data collection under data protection regimes (such as GDPR) and aims to bring together academic, industry, and policy folks.

We have space for a few more primary contributors, so please email me directly (michael.zimmer@marquette.edu) if you'd like to help finish up the submissions and be listed among the primary roundtable discussants. But everyone is welcome to attend and contribute at the conference, of course!
