Employment: Research Fellowship at Curtin University
Dear all "Curtin University of Technology wishes to offer up to three prestigious Research/Teaching Fellowships to commence in 2004. This Fellowship scheme aims to attract high quality researchers with excellent potential for providing future academic leadership at the University. Appointments will involve an initial three-year Research Fellowship. Subject to performance review, Fellows may proceed to a continuing appointment after a further two-year Research/Teaching Fellowship. The principal selection criterion will be research excellence. Other criteria include an ability to develop effective teaching skills and demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills. The Fellowships are not restricted to Australian citizens. Applicants must have completed a research Doctoral degree at the time of application. Applications: Prospective applicants should consult with the relevant Head of School or Director of the Research Institute/Centre of the University regarding their research interests and potential research program. The Head of School/Director will provide advice to the applicant in preparing a full application. Only applications that have the support of a School or University Research Institute/Centre will be considered.
