CFH: examples of 'digital city'?
Dear all, Can anybody give me any specific examples of 'digital city' in your countries. It'd be good if there are websites as well. Here I've got one, 'digital Birmingham' (http://www.digitalbirmingham.co.uk/). Thanks for the help! Hi Jin, You might want to look at MediaCity:UK here in Salford, UK. See: http://www.mediacityuk.co.uk/ Also, check out ITU, Copenhagen's location, Dubai and Seoul. You might also want to look into the Digital Mile in Zaragosa, Spain. Apart from ITU, I'm not sure how these are faring, they're just ones I've heard of. Best, Ben. Thanks everybody for your kindly help! Your messages are all very useful. I'm currently doing a research on the 'ecological system' of 'digital city'. If any of you're interested let's keep in touch. -------------------------------------- Hi Jin, The Portuguese digital cities program was extremely interesting and a little bit different from the rest of the digital cities projects. You can check my article "Are digital cities intelligent? The Portuguese case", *International Journal of Innovation and Regional Development * (IJIRD), Vol. 1, Nº 4, pp. 443-463, where you find examples and other bibliography on the subject.
