Save the Children and other partners are developing a research and awareness project funded by the European Commission on the use of ICT (social networking services, mobile phones and others) in child trafficking and exploitation: to recruit children and teenagers, often transfer them from their home country to somewhere else, and exploit them in sexual, work and illegal activities.
