CALL FOR PAPERS Social Equity Leadership Conference Leveraging Technology and Data to Promote Social Equity Nashville, TN June 3-5, 2015 The National Academy of Public Administration's (NAPA) 14th Annual Social Equity Leadership Conference will be hosted by Tennessee State University’s College of Public Service and Urban Affairs on June 3-5 in Nashville, TN. Established by the Standing Panel on Social Equity at the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA), the annual Social Equity Leadership Conferences focus on advancing knowledge and understanding of applied and theoretical research towards the promotion of social equity in governance. The Standing Panel on Social Equity in Governance (a committee of NAPA) focuses on issues of fairness, justice, and equity in a variety of public contexts, including, but not limited to: education, policing, welfare, housing, and transportation. Faculty members, researchers, nonprofit and government leaders as well as graduate/undergraduate students are strongly encouraged to participate at the meeting. The theme of the 2015 Annual Meeting is Leveraging Technology and Data to Promote Social Equity. We are asking for abstracts of up to 250 words to be submitted by January 15, 2015.
