Fwd: CALL FOR ABSTRACTS】CCRC 2022 – Towards a Cyber Civilization: Risks and Opportunities
[Fwd from Dave Farber aka "grandfather of the Internet"] ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Dave Farber <farber@keio.jp> Date: Tue, Sep 7, 2021 at 11:36 PM Dear CCRC friends Cyber Civilization Research Center (CCRC) is planning for a 2-day International Conference in Tokyo, Japan, in February 2022. It aims to provide a platform for academia, policymakers, and the private sector to share their experiences, exchange insights, and discuss the emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges of increasingly digital societies. We aspires to provide the world with ideas that address the systems architecture that can securely protect the autonomy of the people based on the principles of check and balance among the powers that constitute the new cyber civilization, with the full participation of all members of the society. CCRC is now calling upon researchers around the world to provide inputs on how we might design such a future world. We welcome a broad range of papers that provide insights on how we might design systems for this new civilization. We welcome both high-level discussion as well as those papers that address the design of the technological/social systems in specific areas. For further information on the CALL FOR ABSTRACT, kindly see https://www.ccrc.keio.ac.jp/call-for-abstract-2022/ Please help to circulate this announcement among your networks or any interested parties.
