Gentle reminder: Deadline for extended abstract submission is approaching - *June 15, 2019* The European Conference on Health Communication (ECHC) 2019 is a joint conference of the Health Communication Temporary Working Group (TWG) of the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA) and the Health Communication Division of the German Communication Association (DGPuK). The conference will be held from 13 to 15 November 2019 in Zurich (Switzerland). It is hosted by the Department of Communication and Media Research at the University of Zurich (IKMZ). The conference has a thematic focus on social aspects of health communication. It will provide a platform for discussing the interrelations between health, health communication, and people’s social contexts on various levels and from diverse perspectives. With the aim to represent the full scope of current health communication research, the ECHC also welcomes research on further issues of health communication. Please find the CFP at the following link: https://echc.ch/cfp/. *Deadline for submissions is 15 June 2019.* The Health Communication Temporary TWG and the ECREA Young Scholars Network (YECREA) are at ECHC organizing also a round table debate titled „The responsible conduct of research: The ethical challenges and considerations in health communication studies“. The event aims to encourage young scholars to exchange and share their concerns, issues, questions, dilemmas, and ideas with other scholars at different stages of their career. It will take place at the 13 November (16:30 – 18:00) before the Get Together of the ECHC conference in Zurich.
