Abstracts are due on February 1st 2013. The ECPR General Conference will take place in Bordeaux, France, 4 - 7 September 2013 . The panel, part of the section Comparative Perspectives on the New Politics of Dissent invites papers discussing the role of social media in recent popular protests in the Arab World, in Europe, in the US, and beyond, and approaching the issue from both a strategic and identity perspective.
