Hi Andrew, I use MAXQDA <http://www.maxqda.com/> and have found it be quite flexible for coding all types of files, including audio and video. It accommodates mixed methods work, and has some basic visualization tools too. I recently had an undergraduate student use it for a research project as well, and she reported that it is quite intuitive and easy to learn. Free trials are available through the website.
