We’d like to inform you that the call for article abstracts and new media art projects for the upcoming Infrastructures of Digital Design Conference, hosted by the University of California, San Diego has been extended to Nov. 12th. “Infrastructures” will be held January 31st-Feb 2nd, 2003 at CRCA (Center for Research in Computing in the Arts). We are seeking submissions from graduate students across the applied sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities engaging emergent discourses and practices of digital infrastructures. The event will feature a keynote address by Howard Becker and plenary presentations by Geof Bowker, Sharon Daniel, Ed Hutchins, Lev Manovich, Kate Rich, Larry Smarr and Leigh Star.
