Thanks, Libby --------- The Department of Humanities <https://humansciences.iit.edu/humanities> at Illinois Institute of Technology seeks a tenure-track assistant professor of digital humanities for a Fall 2017 appointment. Our ideal candidate will be a digital humanities scholar with disciplinary expertise in one of our core areas: communication; history; linguistics; media studies; or science, technology, and society. Successful applicants will have completed a Ph.D. by August 2017 and demonstrate evidence of potential for collaborative, interdisciplinary research. Teaching responsibilities will include both undergraduate and graduate instruction, especially in the undergraduate majors in Digital Humanities <https://humansciences.iit.edu/humanities/programs/undergraduate-programs/bachelor-science-digital-humanities> and Communication <https://humansciences.iit.edu/humanities/programs/undergraduate-programs/bachelor-science-communication> and graduate program in Technology and Humanities, which offers both M.S. <https://humansciences.iit.edu/humanities/programs/graduate-programs/master-science-technical-communication-and-information-desig-0> and Ph.D. <https://humansciences.iit.edu/humanities/programs/graduate-programs/phd-technology-humanities> degrees.
