Hey all,I am having a bit of a debate about the use of blogs and listserv's in academic work. If one is using a listserv as a information source the current ethical guidelines say to cite it as an electronic resource. However, if a researcher is studying a blog/listserv as a research site, ie online ethnographic participate observation, does the same policy apply or rather do issues of informed consent pop up?
