Knew I'd forgotten something
My backup disk doesn't have enough space to back up the whole of my iBook's HD. I am backing up the documents, music, applications and pictures folders - are there any other folders I should be backing up in case the iBook bursts into flames? -- David Brake, PhD researcher in Media and Communications, London School of Economics & Political Science <http://www.lse.ac.uk/collections/media@lse/study/mPhilPhDMediaAndCommunications.htm> Also see http://davidbrake.org/ (home page) and http://blog.org/ (weblog) Author of Dealing With E-Mail - <http://davidbrake.org/dealingwithemail/> gives ordering info
if you are using osx, then all you normally should need to backup is your users directory, because that is where all of your personal files are. all other files should be capable of reinstallation from other media. On Feb 23, 2005, at 4:26 AM, David Brake wrote:
