The event, which will be followed by a gala dinner, serves as a celebration and tribute to the Institute, which will be closing with the retirement of founder, Professor Eli Noam <https://business.columbia.edu/faculty/people/eli-noam>. CITI was the first research center dedicated to communications economics, management, and policy established at a US management school. Over the past 42 years, CITI has published 75 books and hundreds of articles, hosted nearly one thousand conferences, run several webinar series, and welcomed numerous visiting scholars and interns from around the world.
