Re: [Air-l] ICE-T anyone (or e-commerce)
Barry's (Wellman)research comes across to me as a study of regional differences in e-commerce practices among people living in Canada. E-commerce is a term that has been coined for the exchange of goods and services using a variety of information and communication technologies (ICTs). ICT is a broad term that is used to talk about the various technologies that enable business transactions. Implicit to these conversations are various exchange processes that enable transactions. Would ICE-T be a term that would be promoted among social scientists who are conducting research on e-commerce transactions???? --------------------------------------- Gail D. Taylor, M.Ed.
