Doctoral Positions / Assistantships in Human Computer Interaction and Usability   The contract is based on the Austrian “Angestelltengesetz” and can be compared with a “Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter” on VBG-basis.   •  Field of duty: Research in Human Computer Interaction & Usability, own scientific work (Ph. D. thesis), technical supervision of the Usability/User Experience Lab, administration work, helping at the supervision of students and application for funds, contributions to organisational work (e.g.  conferences). • Requirements: Master in computer science, psychology, sociology, communication science, design or a comparable discipline. • Other qualifications: good methodological knowledge, experiences in project work, experiences in applications for EU-programs and/or other scientific funding programs, international conference and international experiences, leadership qualifications, interest in interdisciplinary work. • Knowledge in the German language would be advantageous but no precondition.
