FYI -----Original Message----- From: Jill Sergeant [mailto:JSergeant@afao.org.au] Sent: Monday, 24 July 2006 4:59 pm Hi all, Some of you will be familiar with the successful Making Links conferences in 2004 and 2005 which AFAO took a lead role in organising with other community organisations. I'm pleased to announce that we are releasing the call for papers for Making Links 2006, to be held in Sydney 14th - 15th November 2006. We have had strong participation from AFAO member organisations and other HIV / Hep C sector organisations in previous years, both as presenters and as delegates. This is a great opportunity for you, your staff and volunteers to share skills and skill up not only in IT and web development, but also in the use of IT in education and community building. We are excited about the event and expect it to bigger, better and more innovative than in past years, with a multimedia fair offering a unique opportunity to showcase interactive projects which you may have developed. Please support this event by passing this email on throughout your organisations and affiliates, by submitting proposals to present, and by encouraging and supporting your staff and volunteers to attend.
