AoIR conference accomodation and travel
Dear Colleagues In relation to recent queries can I point you to the 'travel' page of the conference web site: www.sussex.ac.uk/cce/aoir This section has general travel information on how to get to the University of Sussex and also has details of trains to and from Brighton and Falmer. Falmer is the University campus station. It takes 10 minutes on the train to get from town to campus. To clarify - accomodation is offered on campus throughout the conference, but for those who are staying longer or coming early, on the 'Brighton' page there are links to 'about Brighton' sites with listings for hotels, bars restaurants etc. Also useful in relation to hotels is Expedia (www.expedia.co.uk) Please remember to register for the conference if you have not done so already. I look forward to seeing you here. All the best Kate O'Riordan
Dear Kate - What are the PP facilities? Must we bring a laptop or will there be laptops on hand for each session, meaning we can travel light with a CD/DVD? Or do we bring transparencies in case of technical difficulties? While power corrupts, PP corrupts absolutely, Denise ===== Denise N. Rall, PhD candidate, School of Environ. I have two questions to add to that: What version of Windows and Powerpoint do you have? And, as my presentation includes a lot of audio clips, is it possible to arrange for speakers for the computers?
