Examples of digital (writing/composition) pedagogy in the disciplines
For my dissertation, I am researching examples of digital pedagogy in the disciplines (especially in business/technical/science writing) that use multimodal affordances--visual, sound, video, etc.--to foster accessibility and understanding of dense content areas. Please advise & warm thanks! Cristina Migliaccio St. John's University
Hi there, I am currently research on issue of trustworthiness of tweets in post-disaster situations like earthquake. I would really love to get some related references. Also, is anyone familiar with any organizations that works in this area? Would be grateful to know! Hello Christina, Sorry for the self-promotion, but I wrote about this topic for my dissertation as well. I did a case study of Macaulay Honors College, CUNY. This program uses ePortfolios across the general education curriculum with an emphasis on mutlimodal projects. In the dissertation, I compare the use of multimedia in the humanities to the sciences. Here is the link: http://academicworks.cuny.edu/gc_etds/1340/ I also recently published an article on this topic in *CDQ*: https://sigdoc.acm.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/CDQ-winter-2016-4-2-.pdf I hope this is helpful, Amanda Amanda Licastro, PhD Assistant Professor of Digital Rhetoric, Stevenson University in Maryland http://digitocentrism.commons.gc.cuny.edu/ @amandalicastro On Sat, Jan 28, 2017 at 11:17 PM, bipulendra adhikari < bipulendra.adhikari@gmail.com> wrote:
