Nominations for both the 2026 Nancy Baym Annual Book Award and the 2026 Dissertation Award close in two weeks, on May 27. See more info about both below: --- *Nancy Baym Annual Book Award* The award goes to the best scholarship on the social and cultural dimensions of networked media published in the 2025 calendar year. Monographs only—edited collections are not eligible. Self-nominations are permitted. To nominate, email bookaward [at] aoir.org with a nomination letter describing how the book draws on or contributes to AoIR scholarship, along with a digital copy.
