For the geek-inclined (i.e., those that might use latex and don't mind a command line), Thunderdell [1] permits one to keep all notes/bibliography in a Freemind mindmap, and then output it to bibtex/biblatex when needed. [1]:http://reagle.org/joseph/2009/01/thunderdell.html
