New Position: Internet Projects Officer
Internet Projects Officer The Oxford Internet Institute is searching for a full-time projects officer with a Postgraduate degree in a discipline relevant to social research on the Internet to assist in developing Institute initiatives in research and other special Internet-related projects. Based in the heart of Oxford, this new department in the University's social sciences' division aims to become the world's leading multi-disciplinary academic centre studying the societal implications of the Internet. You will have a postgraduate degree in a discipline relevant to social research on the Internet, knowledge of Internet technology and industry and excellent oral and written expression, including public speaking. You will also be highly organised, capable of working efficiently without close supervision and be able to work easily with people from academia as well as the worlds of commerce and politics. This is a demanding position with considerable scope for a talented person to shape the post as it develops.
