Job: Director Center for Creative Computing @Notre Dame
Director of the Center for Creative Computing This senior-level leadership position will direct teaching and research at the newly-established Center for Creative Computing (CCC) at the University of Notre Dame. This position is responsible for assisting students and faculty with appropriate creative technologies. These include multimedia applications in art, film/video and music. This requires timely communication with faculty and students in key departments, administration of the College of Arts and Letters and external entities such as technology companies and grant agencies. Position responsibilities also include grant writing, budget development and allocation, scheduling CCC resources, and coordination with the College Computing Office. Long-term initiatives would be handled by this position in partnership with the CCC Advisory and Assessment Committee. Expertise in one of the following areas is preferred; digital art, design, digital video postproduction and music application. Knowledge and understanding of faculty computing needs is very important. This position would be responsible for communicating the goals and missions of the CCC to appropriate people and centers, and would supervise a support staff.
