Re: [Air-L] WEBCAST TODAY/AUJOURD’HUI: Fear to Peer / La peur du peering
Hi Godofredo, Any such errors are perhaps introduced by the conversion from html to plain text in your email client. Always, the last link I give is the 'permalink', in this case https://isoc.live/14405/ which will give you a formatted web page. joly On Tue, Aug 3, 2021 at 6:17 AM Godofredo Ramizo < godofredojr.ramizo@seh.ox.ac.uk> wrote:
Dear Joly,
Just wish to note that this link does not seem to work: < https://www.afpif.org/virtual-peering-series-africa/fear-to-peer-future-of-handshake-peering/>* '. Perhaps the symbols >* were mistakenly included as part of the link.
Thanks, Godofredo

Today's session tackles the tricky problem of interconnecting while physically distancing!

The focus of this 11th webinar in the *Virtual Peering Series – Africa <https://www.afpif.org/fr/virtual-peering-series-africa/>* will be will be on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the organisation of peering forums around the world. We would like to understand how activities such as peering bilaterals and socials, which are usually heavily in-person dependent, will evolve and whether hybrid (in-person and virtual) events would become the new norm. This session will elaborate on the innovative ways peering forums are currently exploring to keep their respective communities engaged. Finally, with little to almost zero face-to-face outreach events, the community building and development activities, around peering, need to be re-invented. The session will discuss the impact of the pandemic on the human network and how this is affecting the operational aspects of peering.
