Candidates must be able to demonstrate an ability to provide leadership in critically informed Media Practice, within the overall context of the Department of Media and Film, the ability to maintain a practice-as-research profile of the highest level of excellence within the postholder's specialist field, and the ability to develop partnerships with outside bodies. Applications from any area of Media Practice will be welcomed, but we are particularly interested in applicants with an understanding of emerging formats in media practice such as online or mobile film and television. Candidates with additional strengths in dramatic/fiction film, digital/interactive media, radio and/or photography will be especially welcomed.
