I will also be available at NCA for face to face conversations. ---- Director and Professor School of Media and Communication Bowling Green State University seeks a Director for the School of Media and Communication beginning July 1, 2013. The School consists of three departments, Communication, Journalism & Public Relations, and Telecommunications, with 37 faculty members who teach and conduct research in a broad range of theoretical and applied areas. The graduate program offers an M.A. and Ph.D. in Media and Communication. The school educates approximately 1000 undergraduate majors and 75 graduate students. BGSU has made a major commitment to the school by prioritizing a new, state of the art facility as part of a $200 million investment in academic facilities. The successful candidate will have qualifications for appointment at the rank of professor with tenure, administrative experience, a record of working collaboratively with faculty, a broad understanding of the field of media and communication and its future direction, a commitment to undergraduate and graduate student success, and a successful record of grant writing.
