Apologies for cross-posting, but this will be such an awesome event you will want to read about it twice... Announcing #AoIRcamp! #AoIRcamp is an IR14 post-conference designed to help you break down boundaries and overcome blocks in your writing. It is a two day workshop that will offer participants unstructured writing time along with a series of mini writing workshops designed to foster creative writing strategies. Sessions on productive writing, writing as a way of knowing, writing as resistance, experimental writing and performative scholarship will be offered, as well as plenty of free time to hike in the mountains, reflect, and share feedback with one another. In the evenings, we will gather for informal socializing and dinner. This workshop will be limited to 25 participants. Cost: $75/participant to cover transportation and group facilities. Participants will cover their own lodging and meal costs. Hotel: The Estes Park Resort is situated at the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, on beautiful Lake Estes. Rooms are either double queen or king (king rooms have a pull-out sofa), and pricing depends on views and room sizes. Sharing rooms should be coordinated among the participants.
