I'm presently conducting a study of sociality and neo-tribalisme in the gaming communities in computercafés in Copenhagen, as part of an assignment at the Institutet of sociology at The University of Copenhagen. Unfortunatly I'm unable to locate any research in this field - and has been advised to post the question here to find out if any such exists. I hope some af you are able to help.
