Multiple iSchool Faculty Positions in Austin
Hi, The UT iSchool is hiring multiple positions this year, please consider applying! https://www.ischool.utexas.edu/facultysearch The School of Information at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for four new full-time, tenured/tenure-track faculty positions to start in Fall 2019 or earlier, depending on applicant availability. The rank of each of the positions is specified in the details for that position; rank and salary for successful candidates will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The four positions include: A Full Professor to hold the endowed Bill and Lewis Suit Professor of Information Technology. This endowed professorship offers a competitive salary and an annual research allowance of approximately $30k. We are particularly seeking a senior scholar with a distinguished track record in information/informatics research in the areas of health, medicine, and/or medical organizations, although exceptional scholars in other areas will also be considered. A Tenured Faculty Member, concurrently appointed as Associate Dean for Education, who will be appointed in a 9-month tenured faculty appointment (either as an associate or full professor, depending on current qualifications and experience) at 0.5 FTE and an administrative (12-month) capacity at 0.5 FTE. We are particularly seeking an established exceptional scholar with an active research program who is also an administrator with a proven track record in developing innovative cross-disciplinary teaching programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
