Doctoral Grant by the University Research Fund (BOF) in the area of Communication Studies Job description · You prepare a doctoral thesis in the field of Communication Studies, focusing on adolescents, social network sites and privacy. More specifically, you will conduct a longitudinal study on the self-disclosure of adolescents on social network sites, along with their (privacy) protective behaviours. You will investigate why adolescents disclose information about themselves online, which relational opportunities and risks such disclosure entails and how they cope with these risks. · You contribute to teaching and research in the Research Group MIOS (Media and ICT in Organisations and Society).
