Assistant Teaching Professor - Technical Communication - Arizona State University The School of Applied Professional Studies in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts (CISA) at Arizona State University (ASU) invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor of Technical Communication with a primary specialization in Social Media Management. Expectations for this position include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in multiple scales and modalities; practicing inclusive teaching and mentoring; and providing service to the unit, college, and university. Teaching load is typically four (4) courses per semester. Course load and composition are determined by the school director. This is an academic-year appointment with an expected start date of August 2026. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure-eligible position with promotion possibilities, and renewable on an academic year basis contingent upon satisfactory performance, availability of resources, and the needs of the university. Salary is competitive, commensurate with experience. Candidates must reside in the Phoenix metro area or be willing to relocate. The Technical Communication (Social Media Management) degree is a rapidly growing degree that serves more than 100 students learning to become social media professionals.
