Marxe School of Public and International Affairs seeks an engaged scholar whose teaching and research focuses on social justice, racial equity issues, and related public policies. We are especially interested in a candidate who is able to work collaboratively with faculty on developing classes, scholarly publications and community-based projects related to social and racial justice, and engaging CUNY students and alumni in programs that promote diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives that help to ameliorate racial and ethnic hostilities while generating greater interracial understanding. In service to this agenda, we are particularly interested in candidates capable of teaching our core course on "Race, Equity and Policy." Baruch College of the City University of New York is a public, urban institution with an enrollment of approximately 20,000 students.
