2006 horizon report from NMC and Educause
the 2006 horizon report is out at http://www.nmc.org/horizon/ It has sections on: Social computing Personal Broadcasting Phones Educational Gaming Augmented Reality Contextually aware devices. I find it interesting to read the horizon reports because they provide a nice introduction to current and upcoming technologies in the academy and elsewhere. That and they are short and provide interesting citations. Hi all, I'm slated to teach an MA level course on organizations and technology this spring and would welcome reading suggestions and syllabi to browse. I'd be interested in seeing undergrad or PhD-level course syllabi as well. If you'd like to send them to me directly I'd be happy to aggregate and return to the list (or interested parties). Thanks in advance, N. - Nicole Ellison, PhD Dept. of Telecommunication, Information Studies and Media Michigan State University
