Dear AoIR Colleagues, I’m pleased to inform you that the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Brazil, has launched a simplified selection process to hire visiting professors from foreign higher education institutions. The aim is to attract experienced researchers for in-person activities within UFMG's Graduate Programs. Candidates must have completed their PhD at least 10 years ago, along with other requirements outlined in the call for applications. The salary offered is equivalent to that of a full professor at a Brazilian federal university. The Graduate Program in Communication Studies (PPGCOM) is accepting applications until January 4. Located in the city of Belo Horizonte, PPGCOM/UFMG is a 30-year-old program with a vibrant faculty of 32 researchers and nearly 200 PhD and M.A. students.
