We are please to announce the Conference on Group Processes in Computer-Supported Interaction: Technological and Social Determinism to be held at Miami University on April 1-2, 2005. The conference includes an impressive line-up of speakers, including Russell Spears, Tom Postmes, Craig McGarty, Adam Joinson, Melanie Green, Andrea Hollingshead, Alan Dennis, Poppy McLeod, Suzanne Weisband, Kai Sassenberg, Kip Williams, Joe Walther, Paul Paulus , and Susanne Abele.

We are currently seeking proposals for poster presentations on topics related to the area of group-processes in computer-supported social interaction. The poster sessions will be scheduled around the featured presentations. We welcome proposals from any discipline relevant to the theme of the conference; submissions can be of an empirical nature or a theoretical/conceptual paper. Students are particularly encouraged to submit poster proposals.

Submission Guidelines: Authors must submit a 500-word proposal by March 15, 2005. The abstract should present a brief yet detailed description of the problem, methodology, results and/or potential implications.
