Schedule for the 2017 Digital Media and Learning Conference
Digital Media & Learning Conference 2017 October 4-6, 2017 / University of California, Irvine Connecting leading innovators, educators, and researchers The schedule for this year’s Digital Media and Learning Conference is now available online. The 2017 DML Conference is a two-day event happening October 5-6, 2017. In addition, a full day of hands-on pre-conference workshops, organized by top experts in the field, is being offered. Workshop topics range from courses in media making, learning analytics, program evaluation, and game design, to working sessions focused on delving into cutting edge problems in research and practice. The pre-conference workshop day is being held October 4, 2017. The 2017 DML Conference will include a keynote from danah boyd, founder and president of Data & Society, Esra'a Al-Shafei, a Bahraini civil rights activist, and Henry Jenkins, Provost’s Professor of Communication, Journalism, and Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California.
