Advice on Social Media Activism Related conferences with CFP
Hi all, I’m a PHD student at University of technology Sydney, my research topic is “the Role of Social Media in Participatory Political Activism” I’ve just written an 8000 words paper about “Social Media & the Arab Spring” and I would love to present it in a conference, I’ve been Googling for a suitable conference with no luck, anyone on the list can help me in suggesting a good conference/journal? Hi Suheil- The Nonprofit Technology Conference could be a very fitting venue for your research - it's put on my NTEN (the Nonprofit Technology Network) and brings together organizations, activists, public media, and many others every year for a 3-day conference. The sessions are all determined by the community at large, and submissions will open later this month (the next conference is April 3-5 in San Francisco).
