Ganesha No. 10 Bandung, Indonesia Finding effective and optimal ICT to develop well being of communities in rural areas is of primary importance to maximize benefits of this technology. The research problems include finding innovative network infrastructures, affordable computing, effective software applications, and sustainability policy scheme, social, economics, and regulation issues. The International Conference on Rural Information and Communication Technology 2007 (r-ICT 2007) will be held at Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia in 6-7th August 2007.
