The Institute for Information Law (IViR) at the University of Amsterdam has a position available, for a Postdoctoral researcher (Economist, Econometrist or Social scientist). Job description The researcher will be charged with performing survey data analysis as part of a NWO-funded research project on compensation systems for the use of copyright works online. He/she will work as part of an interdisciplinary team of legal scholars, economists and social scientists led by Prof. dr. P. Bernt Hugenholtz. The ideal candidate also has: interest in the socio-economics of information and communication technology, creative industries or copyright; good knowledge of current developments in information markets and technology; creative mind and analytical intelligence; capacity to work in teams; fluency in English, both oral and in writing.
