assistant professor in digital communication
Loyola University Chicago is searching for a tenure track assistant professor in the area of digital communication. The successful candidate will teach a combination of theoretical and applied courses to undergraduate and graduate students. Strong applicants will possess a terminal degree, a record of scholarly publishing or creative production, teaching experience, and significant, professional experience in a related field. Applicants must have an excellent knowledge in several of these areas: digital culture, social networks, virtual worlds, media ethics and policy, gaming, web design/programming or other current and developing technologies. The School of Communication is housed in a new building in the heart of Chicago, a block from the Water Tower. The school serves 800 undergraduates and a new graduate program in digital storytelling and hosts the Center for Digital Ethics and Policy (digitalethics.org).
