Candidates should have a Ph.D. or a completion date of a Ph.D. by July 1, 2025 and be qualified to teach undergraduate and graduate Media and Technology Studies courses, contribute to the core courses in the graduate program, and develop specialized undergraduate and graduate courses reflecting their research interests. We are particularly interested in a colleague whose research and teaching emphasizes one or more of the following: cultural studies of media technologies; digital communities and cultures, especially those of the global majority; queer communities, and communities engaging with disabilities; ecological and environmental studies of media and technology; feminist media studies; popular culture and media industries; and media technology, politics, and public culture. QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. (or conferral during the 2024-25 academic year) in Communication, Media Studies, Technology studies or related field.
