Ph.D. course in internet research ethics

PHD course: "Internet Research Ethics: Foundations, Law and Guidelines, and Cross-cultural Perspectives" by Professor Charles Ess. 27 October to 31 October, 2003 The course will examine the background, pertinent literatures, and core issues and debates in contemporary efforts to develop an Internet research ethics, in order to achieve both theoretical and practical goals. Charles Ess is professor of philosophy and religion at Drury University, US, and currently visiting professor at the Department of Digital Aesthetics and Communication at the IT University. Ess has chaired the ethics working committee - representing some 11 nations both East and West - of the Association of Internet Researchers since 2000.
