Good afternoon, The Digital Life Initiative (DLI; dli.tech.cornell.edu) at Cornell Tech is pleased to announce that we are currently accepting applications for postdoctoral fellows to begin in August 2019. We are seeking candidates whose work aligns with DLI's focus on societal perspectives on digital technologies, focusing on key ethical and political issues, such as privacy, accountability, access, security, and fairness. We welcome applicants from a range of disciplines including computer and information sciences, law, philosophy, data science, media studies, public policy, and social science whose work is concerned with ethics, politics, and quality of life. Fellows will work with Digital Life Initiative Director, Helen Nissenbaum, and affiliated faculty, as well as with the collaborative academic and industry community of Cornell Tech and greater New York City. Applications will be considered beginning in January 2019 until the positions are filled.
