Dear colleagues, Within the yearly conference of the CNRS Center for Internet and Society next week (hybrid in Paris & online), we would like to invite our international colleagues to attend one of the sessions which will take place in English: Internet and Society international networks A discussion on international interdisciplinary collaborations Thursday 6 October 10:00 - 10:50 Central European Time Paris and online The session will address the dynamics and challenges of the construction and the sustainability of interdisciplinary international collaborations in the Internet and society domain. Moderation: Mélanie Dulong de Rosnay, CIS-CNRS Juan Carlos de Martin (NEXA Center for Internet & Society, Politecnico di Torino) will present the Global Network of Internet and Society Research Centers (https://networkofcenters.net/) and his thoughts about international collaboration in the Internet & society domain. Marida di Crosta (Université Lyon III) will talk about DesCartes, a CNRS@CREATE Program on Intelligent Modelling for Decision-making in Critical Urban Systems (Singapore) Valérie Schafer (Université du Luxembourg) will talk about her experience in the European projects and networks Operas (European Research Infrastructure for the development of open scholarly communication in the social sciences and humanities), and WARCnet (Web ARChive studies network researching web domains and events) and Resaw (a Research Infrastructure for the Study of Archived Web Materials).
