Dear AoIRs This may be of interest to many of you. And a nice opportunity to visit the top of the world, experience the beautifull scenery of the north Norway coastline, and the midnight sun. The conference organizer, the Norwegian Centre for Telemedicine, was designated as the first World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Telemedicine in July 2002. Tromso Telemedicine and eHealth Conference 2004: Citizen participation in eHealth: Challenges for research, technologies and health care organisations www.telemed.no/ttec2004 This conference is about people using eHealth for their own health purposes. The conference will provide a meeting place for exchanging knowledge and debating strategies between the key players in eHealth. We hope this event will strengthen efforts to maximize the potentials, and limit the pitfalls, inherent in eHealth developments. We invite citizen and patient representatives together with policy makers and experts from the field of health, social sciences and technology to submit abstracts along the following topics: Policy, Organization, Strategy: What should we strive for? Technology; Applications and Practice: What do we have? Research: What do we know and need to know? Deadline for submission is 2 February 2004.
