Information, Communication and Society is currently publishing a series of papers on the themes of 'Privacy, Surveillance, Trust and Regulation', edited by Charles Raab and David Mason. This series, which commenced with an article by David Lyon in vol.5, no. 2 (2002), is expected to run through many issues of the Journal. Manuscripts are invited for consideration, and will be refereed in the usual way. Contributions which include a dimension of empirical research that casts light on one or more of the main themes are particularly welcome, but theoretical and other approaches will also be considered.
