Appointment will be at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, commencing Fall 2011. The successful candidate will blend an active interest and strong technical expertise in GIS with research that directly and critically engages with information, visualization and geospatial technologies in ways that complement existing faculty strengths in human or environmental geography. A commitment to developing GIS capacity and interdisciplinary collaboration within the College and University across the social sciences, humanities and earth sciences is desirable.
