18 PhD positions in Research Unit on Communicative A/ GenAI and Society
Dear all, we are starting to hire! We are currently seeking to fill 18 PhD-position in the field of Communicative AI / Generative AI and society. The positions are announced as part of a major research cluster on Communicative AI funded by the German and the Austrian Research Foundations, led by Andreas Hepp and Wiebke Loosen, with PIs from multiple disciplines and research institutions, including me. The PhD positions are fully funded for 4 years, located mostly at ZeMKI, Centre for Media, Communication and Information Research, University of Bremen, others are located in Hamburg, Vienna, and Graz. Work will be interdisciplinary but our perspective is informed by media and communications, sociology / STS, law, and computer science / HCI. Deadline is September 27, 2024.
